Ok, where do we start, here? How about a little introduction…

I’m Aaron. You can usually find me in front of a computer makin’ little doodles and writing some scraps that I hope people will see. I’m one of the graphic designers here at GiftWorksPlus. I can write and organize images, so I guess it’s my job to create our first blog post!

I should start by answering the question…

What is GiftWorksPlus?

Well, our slogan is “The Leader in Custom Frames.” Let’s break that down for a second. Let’s start with the word, “the.” It’s an article. It’s used primarily before a noun. Ok, I’m just kidding about this breaking down the slogan business, but if you DO need to learn the definition of “the,” then you have much larger problems than finding a perfect gift for someone.

We’re in the business of perfect gifts. We have an ever-expanding list of designs to choose from. Almost every picture frame design can be changed to fit your needs. That’s pretty much all we do here: work with the customer to create the perfect frame for any occasion. We handle weddings, birthdays, retirements, hole-in-one’s and much, much more. I said our design choices are always increasing… we get new ideas from our customers, and have a very creative staff not afraid to say “what if!” What if we have this? What if we do that? We’re not afraid to try new things.

What can I expect from this blog?

Just like anyone… we do updates. Whether it be a new product, new technique… new baby… we’ll throw it on the blog. There was a scientific study that showed people enjoy babies, and that’s a fact. It’s science. So you’ll probably like the blog.

Also- when we put pictures of the people working here, if you have a complaint, you have a face to go along with the pleasant and caring voice you hear on the phone! “Oh, that Aaron’s so handsome and pleasant and totally solved all my problems!” It happens all the time. No big deal.

Another thing we want to focus on is feedback from our customers. Speaking as a designer, it’s always nice to hear the stories of our custom designed frames. I like hearing that the frames we made as prizes were a big hit, or the newlyweds loved their wedding day frame. If you send us stories, we’ll post them!

Finally, we want to do “stories from the road” from time to time. We do shows all over the country for all types of industries. I, personally, love hearing people talk about their travels… well mainly travel nightmares. Those are the best! Ok… as long as no one gets hurt. Oh- also if nothing gets damaged. Ok, if there’s a “no harm, no foul” aspect to the story, I enjoy travel nightmares.

So that’s it, I’m lookin’ forward to hearing stories and sharing some of ours.
