- Colors matter! Colors certainly add a lot to a room, but did you know that they can actually have an effect on your mood too? Blue encourages a more focused mind, green promotes feelings of balance, red invites energy and courage, while yellow fosters creativity and happiness. Pick out some simple office wall décor in these colors and see what a difference it makes!
- Try out a potted plant! A small potted plant will help create the feeling of being outside in your indoor office space. If you’re not a big gardener some simple plants like aloe or some pretty lavender to add a calming scent to your work day!
- Have fun with it! When creating an optimal workspace, don’t focus only on what will help you be more productive. Remember your mood impacts your productivity! Bring in some cute knickknacks or funny toys. Maybe get some scented playdough you can mold when you’re having a brainstorming session, or pick up a joke-a-day calendar to make you and your coworkers smile before starting each day.
- Think about what makes YOU happy! Chances are, when you’re at work you’d really rather be relaxing with friends and family. Try decorating your space with photos of your favorite people or even your pets! Having something close by to remind you of your loved ones will always help make the office feel more like home.

How to Redesign Your Office Décor
GiftWorksPlus |
Is it just us or do home design shows seem to be everywhere these days? It’s always fun to see the work that goes into renovating and redecorating a house. What makes it even better are those little personal touches that really help turn a house into a home.
However, if you have an office job, those personal home touches don’t matter much when you’re stuck in a small office or cubicle for 40 hours a week. That’s why this week we’d like to provide some office décor ideas to make the office feel like your own little home away from home and maybe even improve your productivity!
